Rowan Alkaysi

Rowan Alkaysi is Project Manager for the DC Government, managing the design and construction of school modernization projects for the DC Public School system. With over 7 years of experience in construction, Rowan has managed over $500M in PK-12 and venue projects and advised on school facility and capital improvement planning. Rowan most recently completed the Benjamin Banneker Academic High School project, which is noted as DC’s top performing public high school and the first public high school in the United States to achieve net zero energy.

Rowan is a member of the Women in Construction group and a mentor for the DC Affiliate of ACE Mentoring. Her academic background includes work in Civil and Environmental Engineering while at the George Washington University. Rowan is also a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified Construction Manager.
