One of the missions of ADC is to celebrate and uplift our cultural heritage. As Arab Americans, we understand the importance of bridging together our traditions and celebrations from each of our countries to bring joy and pride to our members and supporters. The Arab American community is one of the most diverse ethnic communities in the country, with many races, faiths, and countries making up our mosaic.
Some of our endeavors include:
Annual Turaath Night held every December in Washington DC, this event has hosted musical ensembles such as Yousef Shamoun and his band, and a comedy show featuring Arab American comedians.
Collaboration on events through our chapters and national HQ with museums, cultural centers, and organizations, such as the House of Palestine in San Diego, California.
Webinars and social media campaigns highlighting and celebrating our culture during Arab Heritage month every April.
Educating our members and supporters on the history of Arab American migration.
Presenting panels at our National and West Coast conferences on Arab American issues such as Palestine, minority business initiatives, and Arab American artists.
ADC understands that as Arab Americans we are proud of our culture, and we look forward to bringing you many more events celebrating the best parts of our community. This is what it means to be “Truly Arab, Fully American.”
