ADC Women’s Empowerment Forum

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is proud of our Women’s Empowerment Forum (WEF), aimed at addressing challenges surrounding gender equity. This is consistent with ADC’s mandate as an inclusive, secular, non-partisan civil rights organization. The WEF will promote issues such as women leadership roles and gender equity. The WEF will highlight the progress of women’s rights in addition to raising awareness in areas such as STEM, gender wage-gap, education access, and women’s healthcare and reproductive rights.

Mission Statement:

  • To raise awareness on issues of gender equity and women’s empowerment in the Arab American community, as well as forming a networking platform to develop more career opportunities for young Arab American women.
  • To give Arab American women the opportunity and the space to communicate their issues and find solutions in the areas of development, education, and social justice.

Empowering Women and Girls in STEM

The Empowering Women and Girls in STEM program aims to increase the representation and diversity of women and girls in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields and provide resources and support to help them succeed in these careers.

Our program will offer mentorship, professional development, scholarships, and community building opportunities to women and girls in STEM, with a specific focus on Arab American women and girls. By empowering women and girls to pursue careers in STEM, our program aims to create a more inclusive and innovative workforce and drive progress in these crucial fields.
