Washington, D.C. | adc.org | June 13, 2023 – We are delighted to announce that Representative Cori Bush (D-MO) will be joining ADC at our upcoming National Convention as a Special Guest. Rep. Bush will join the community at the Friday Evening Kickoff, where she will give remarks and help us kick off an exciting ADC National Convention weekend.
Cori Bush is an activist, nurse, and community leader who is redefining what it means to be a member of Congress. Congresswoman Cori has lived the struggles regular people endure every day; from the impact of skyrocketing housing costs to payday lending to systemic racism in policing, she’s lived the ways injustice in our nation holds people back in St. Louis and across America.
An unequivocal advocate for social justice, Rep. Bush has emerged as one of the most influential voices on Capitol Hill, advocating for the rights of marginalized communities within the United States and across the world. She has displayed unwavering support for the Palestinian people, standing steadfast in her commitment to human rights and international law.
The Convention will be held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA, from June 16 – 18. Discounted registration rates are still available. A full registration package includes access to all events, including Friday Evening Kickoff with Rep. Bush, Saturday Civil Rights Luncheon featuring Attorney Ben Crump, the Saturday Evening Gala, and the Sunday Palestine Brunch. You also will get access to all important sessions and panels throughout the weekend.
