Announcing ADC’s 2016 Palestine Panel: “The Situation Report on the Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza”

Inspiring Change Through Action

As part of the upcoming Convention, ADC will be hosting a Palestine panel session titled “The Situation Report on the Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza” to provide an analysis of life in Gaza two years after the war.  The panel will include an examination of daily life, health care, education, economy, infrastructure repair (electricity, water, sewage), agriculture, industry, fishing and the ability to exit/enter Gaza.  Additionally, the panelists will discuss current obstacles to development and will review the human toll and prospects for healing (psychosocial health).

This timely and important conversation will include Dr. Brian Barber, from New America; Mr. Bill Corcoran, CEO of ANERA; and Ms. Chelsey Berlin, Director of B’tselem USA.

Her role in Nablus was diverse with involvement in many aspects of the organization’s operations, including program development and management, communications, and monitoring and evaluation. Chelsey has expressed her commitment to the Middle East through Arabic and Hebrew language study, participation in Seeds of Peace International Camp, yearlong study at the American University in Cairo and extensive travel throughout the region. A native of Maine, Chelsey holds a BA in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies from Brandeis University.

Bill Corcoran has been the president and CEO of ANERA since January 2007.
