ADC-OC to Honor Alex Odeh’s Memory
with Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez
Washington, DC | www.adc.org | April 8, 2015 – At 12:00 noon on Friday, April 17th, Community leaders including Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez will gather at the renovated Alex Odeh statue outside of the Santa Ana Public Library to remember Alex Odeh and support ongoing efforts to pursue justice for him and his surviving family.
Alex Odeh, an Arab American civil rights peace activist, was assassinated on the morning of October 11, 1985, when terrorists planted a bomb at his ADC office in Santa Ana, California. Almost 30 years later, the perpetrators remain at large.
The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee invites you to join us as we spread awareness of this hate crime and thank Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, the city of Santa Ana, and community leaders for their support. Your support and coverage will strengthen our efforts to pursue justice and secure a hearing before the Senate and House Judiciary Committees.
