• Thursday, May 1 at 10am in New York, NY. Join the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) and pack the court  for oral arguments in Turkmen v. Ashcroft, CCR’s class action civil rights lawsuit filed on behalf of Muslim, South Asian, and Arab non-citizens who were swept up by the FBI and INS as suspected terrorists after 9/11. • Thursday, May 8th at 6pm in Dearborn, MI. American Association of Yemeni Students and Professionals (AAYSP) 6th Annual Scholarship Gala, Co-Sponsored by ADC. Click here for details.

• Wednesday, May 15 in Washington, DC.  Please join ADC-Women’s Empowerment Forum at Busboys & Poets for a special Arabesque event. The event will showcase independent documentary film, “Madame Parliamentarian,” followed by an open discussion and Q&A segment with the producer and other guest speakers. Adrien Wing is the Bessie Dutton Murray Professor at the University of Iowa College of Law, where she currently teaches International Human Rights, Law in the Muslim World, and Sex Discrimination Law.
