Telephone Press Briefing on the Alex Odeh Case: 28 Years After Terrorist Attack, Murderers Should be Brought to Justice

Washington, DC | www.adc.org | October 14, 2013 – Earlier today, ADC, NAACP, and Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) held a telephone press briefing on the Alex Odeh case. Congressman John Conyers, Jr.  joined the press briefing. In addition, a statement from Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez was presented [click here to download a copy of the statement].

Congressman Conyers called on the Department of Justice to redouble efforts towards solving this case and expressed interest in calling the House Judiciary Committee to hold new hearings on the issue. Congresswoman Sanchez’s statement announced her introduction of a sign-on letter to Congress calling on Attorney General Eric Holder  to give an update in the case and devote serious efforts towards its resolution.  All participants confirmed their support and called for those who murdered Alex Odeh to be brought to justice.
