Mahrajan Al Fan, Arab Arts Festival, in New York, Nov 4-6

Mahrajan Al-Fan, a celebration of Arab and Arab-American culture, was created by master musician/composer Simon Shaheen and the Mahrajan Al-Fan Organizing Committee in 1994. Inspired by the Arab-American festivals that flourished from the 1930s to the 1950s, Mahrajan Al-Fan showcases the diversity of Arab culture with the finest names in the traditional and contemporary arts.
