Hon. Mary Rose Oakar to Speak at Democratic National Convention

Washington, DC | August 21, 2008 | www.adc.org | Hon. Mary Rose Oakar, President of ADC and Chair of the Rules Committee for the Democratic Convention, will be speaking from the podium at the Convention in the Pepsi Center, Denver, Colorado on Monday, August 25, 2008, between 3:30-4:00pm Mountain Time. She will be joined by former Governor David Walters and Ms. Sunita Leeds. The Rules Committee for the DNC Convention will establish the procedural rules under which the Convention will operate, and nominate the permanent officers of the Convention. Congresswoman Oakar represented Greater Cleveland, Ohio for 16 years in the United States Congress.
