Help Stop Racist Flyer in Congress

Washington, DC — The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) and the Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF) are asking for your organization’s support. We have drafted the attached sign-on letters in opposition to a recent flyer campaign launched by the Nutritional Health Alliance depicting Senator Richard Durbin (D-IL) wearing a turban with the words, “Keep Congressional Terrorism at Bay.” The flyer, attached here, explicitly makes a correlation between individuals who wear turbans with terrorism or terrorist activities.
