Contact Your Congressional Member and Set the Record Straight!
This week the Arab American community was reminded of the challenges we face. A fringe organization launched a campaign targeting ADC and public officials who spoke at our convention. This campaign was the basis for a number of statements made by public and elected officials questioning the integrity of Arab Americans.
The onus is on us to correct the narrative and set the record straight. Contact your members of Congress — invite them to speak with Arab Americans and to stand up against hate and bigotry.
In addition, schedule a district meeting with your representative next week. As Congress enter recess; this is an opportunity for your voice to be heard locally.
