Her role in Nablus was diverse with involvement in many aspects of the organization’s operations, including program development and management, communications, and monitoring and evaluation. Chelsey has expressed her commitment to the Middle East through Arabic and Hebrew language study, participation in Seeds of Peace International Camp, yearlong study at the American University in Cairo and extensive travel throughout the region. A native of Maine, Chelsey holds a BA in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies from Brandeis University.
