Muslim woman sues Dearborn Police over hijab removal

After police in Dearborn Heights forced a Muslin woman to remove her hijab, she has responded with a federal lawsuit.

Malak Kazan says her right to religious freedom was violated by being forced to take off her head scarf. Police who were taking her mug shot after an arrest, view it as a safety issue.
