ADC Welcomes Jasmine Hawamdeh as Manager of Communications

Washington, D.C. | February 28th, 2023 – The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is thrilled to welcome Jasmine Hawamdeh as its new Manager of Communications. Jasmine has serious communications experience, and brings a proven track record of creating and executing successful communications strategies, building strong media relationships, and promoting organizations’ mission, goals, and activities to ADC.

Jasmine holds an iBBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada, and has previously worked at various corporate and non-profit organizations. She is also an independent artist, exploring themes such as Arab identity, home, femininity and the intersection between advocacy and the arts through her work.

As Manager of Communications, Jasmine will be responsible for overseeing ADC’s media and public relations efforts, developing and implementing communications strategies, and amplifying the voice of the Arab-American community.

Her passion for social justice, combined with her expertise in communications, make her the perfect fit for this role.
