ADC Symposium: Civil Liberties at Risk Post 9/11

WASHINGTON, DC — On Friday, December 14, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) will host a symposium at the National Press Club to consider risks to civil liberties in the United States in the wake of the attacks of Sept. 11. Georgetown University Law Professor David Cole will focus on Constitutional issues, Greg Nojeim of the ACLU will examine challenges to civil liberties generally, and immigration attorney Denyse Sabagh will discuss the impact on non-citizens living in the United States. The panel will be moderated by attorney Albert Mokhiber, member of the board of ADC.
