ADC Condemns Bombing of US Embassy in Yemen

Washington, DC | September 17, 2008 | www.adc.org | The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) strongly condemns the bombing of the US Embassy in Sanaa, Yemen. According to various media accounts, two car bombs were set off earlier this morning, killing 16 people. Yemeni security officials said, six members of the Yemeni security forces, six attackers, and four bystanders were killed in the attack.
ADC President Hon. Mary Rose Oakar said, “We call for a thorough investigation into this act of terror and for those found responsible to be held accountable to the full extent of the law.”
