Demand the DNC release its 2024 election autopsy report

ADC is calling on the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to release an internal report concluding that Biden’s catastrophic support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza led to Kamala Harris’s election defeat. 

ADC loudly protested from Day One of the genocide and repeatedly warned that a political reckoning would be inevitable if the US did not end its financial, military, and diplomatic backing of Israel’s indiscriminate bombing of Gaza. 

Instead, the Biden administration and Kamala Harris’s campaign ignored our demands and warnings and continued their immoral policy of unconditional support for Israel. The findings of the report are self-evident, but its release is still politically necessary: 

• An acknowledgement from one of our two major political parties that the failed and immoral support for Israel’s wars and occupation is now a political liability. 
• Validation of the countless protesters and the Uncommitted Movement that rallies desperately to force Biden and Harris to change course. 
• An opportunity for an honest reckoning that opens the door for the DNC to learn a useful lesson and realign the party with the aspirations of the majority of Americans in support of Palestinian self-determination. 

Mistakes cannot be corrected if they remain hidden and denied. The DNC must publicly acknowledge that supporting genocide is bad policy and bad politics, and it must change going forward.
