at the
ADC National Convention this June!
As part of the Palestine Day program, the brunch will be held on Sunday June 18, 2023. We have released an exciting program for the brunch which can be read here.
The day features a variety of events, including the ADC Member General Assembly, Palestine Advocacy Session, a keynote speech by renowned Palestinian poet and scholar Tamim Al-Barghouti, along with multiple awardees.
Awardees include, Dr. Mohammad Hashim Ghosheh who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Mariam Foundation, which will receive the distinguished Public Health Service Award and Said Arikat who will be receiving the Courage in Journalism Award.
The schedule of events for the Palestine Brunch
is as follows:
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM – ADC Member General Assembly All ADC members are invited to attend the General Assembly to hear updates on the organization’s activities and to participate in a Q&A session with ADC leadership.
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Palestine Advocacy Session – The Palestine Advocacy Session will provide attendees with a deeper understanding of Palestinian activism in the United States and how to talk to voters about ongoing human rights violations in the region. The session will include presentations by Palestinian activists and experts, as well as interactive workshops.
11:15 AM – 12:00 PM – Keynote by Palestinian poet and scholar Tamim Al-Barghouti
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM – Awards & Brunch – Awards will be presented during the lunch to recognize individuals who have dedicated their time and energy to supporting the Palestinian people.
