The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is urgently calling on all civil rights, human rights, faith-based, and community organizations (and every concerned individual) to demand the immediate release of Mohammed Ibrahim, a 16-year-old American citizen from Palm Bay, Florida.
Mohammed has been unjustly detained in Israel’s Megiddo Prison since February 2025, after being seized by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank while visiting relatives. He is accused of throwing stones, an allegation that under Israeli military law carries up to 20 years in prison.
This so-called “law” is part of the discriminatory Israeli military legal system imposed on Palestinians in the occupied territories. This system denies due process, transparency, and basic human rights.
Mohammed has been denied legal protections, due process, and contact with his family. This is a violation of international law and his rights as a U.S. citizen.
Mohammed is a child. An American. He must come home.
Contact Congress today and demand Mohammed’s release.
