ADC Legal Director on Al-Arabiya News Channel

Washington, DC | April 25, 2006 | Today the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) will be represented by Legal Department Director Kareem Shora on the Al-Arabiya news television network. Shora will appear on Al-Arabiya’s prime time news program (“Akher Saa’a”) which airs live between 4:00 and 4:30 pm EST (11:00 and 11:30 pm in most of the Middle East).
Shora will be discussing the Zacharias Moussaoui case and jury deliberations. As deliberations continue, the jury is deciding on whether to recommend a life sentence in prison or the death penalty for Moussaoui. Shora will provide an explanation in Arabic of the US judicial system. He will also answer questions about the different procedures and appeal possibilities involved in criminal cases like the Moussaoui trial in the United States.
