ADC is growing. As part of our commitment to community growth, ADC is proud to announce the formation and launch of two Chapters – Tampa Bay, FL and Austin, TX. Chapter expansion is part of our commitment to strengthening our grassroots network and expanding our reach to organize and advocate across the country.

ADC Chapters provide an opportunity for local community members to be engaged with the organization and lead on issues that directly impact them. As a grassroots organization, our local chapters play an important role in shaping policy for the organization and community. Local chapters provide critical services to their community, including pro bono legal support, state and local advocacy, programming around education and schools, and support for Arab owned businesses.

“I am excited to work with local community members in Austin and Tampa and look forward to connecting with members across the country,” said ADC National Organizing Director Suehaila Amen. “We are grateful to our members, volunteers, and partners who make this work possible. The establishment of these two chapters will provide much-needed support and empowerment to the communities they serve. I encourage anyone interested in starting a chapter in their city to contact me so we can get things rolling.”

Dr. Mohamad Khatib will serve as the ADC Tampa Chapter President; and Attorney Rola Daaboul is serving as the ADC Austin Chapter President. If you’d like to be connected to your local Chapter, or if you’d like to start a Chapter in your city, please email Ms. Suehaila Amen at [email protected]

Reminder that ADC is truly a community organization. We are funded by community, and work for community. Reach out today to start a Chapter, and consider making a contribution by donating here.
