The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee and The Coalition of Palestinian American Organizations are excited to present the 5th annual Turaath: Celebrating Arab Culture in America event. You’re invited to join us on November 22, 2015 at 6PM at the Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C. Turaath will feature a performance by The Wishah Popular Dance Troupe from Ramallah, Palestine, with steps and melodies from many Arab regions.
A portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales of Turaath will go to benefit children in Palestine through the United Palestinian Appeal’s Healing through Feeling program. This program will provide weekly trauma therapy to kindergartners in the Gaza Strip, ultimately reaching 25,000 children at 250 schools. To learn more about UPA click here.
