Washington D.C. | The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) has a message to President Donald Trump during his historic Middle East trip: let unconditional aid into Gaza immediately, recognize the catastrophic cost of Israel’s ongoing genocide, and decisively change course. Israel’s attacks in Gaza have killed over 100,000 Palestinians, surpassing earlier estimates and underscoring the inhumane nature of this genocide.
American public opinion reflects this grim toll. A recent Gallup poll shows sympathy for Israelis at 46%—its lowest in 25 years—while 33% now sympathize with Palestinians, an all-time high. Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza, broadcast worldwide in real time, has driven this historic shift in public sentiment. The facts speak for themselves: supporting Israel’s crimes is a losing bet for everyone involved.
This visit to Riyadh—and the U.S.–Saudi investment summit—must not be viewed as a business opportunity alone. At the heart of this historic trip must be a clear and immediate demand: end Israel’s unabated genocide in Gaza. Restore the rule of international law. Recognize the Palestinian people’s right to freedom, self-determination, and dignity. Return humanity to the center of U.S. foreign policy.
President Trump is the only person with a unique power to reinject a sense of dignity and stability into a region devastated by war. Only by ending the genocide—today—and allowing unconditional aid into Gaza—immediately—can the foundations for long-term prosperity and peace be built. No deal, no summit, and no strategic goal can succeed while mass death and destruction rage on without consequence.
The world has seen enough of war profiteering, occupation, and impunity. The region cannot thrive under constant aggression, and Americans—along with the global community—are appalled at the ongoing mass atrocities in Gaza. President Trump has the power and leadership to reject false narratives and champion a future rooted in justice, human rights, and lasting stability.
ADC’s Billboard in Times Square
As President Trump begins his Middle East trip, ADC unveiled a billboard in the heart of Times Square. It cites the President’s own words:
“We’ve got to be good to Gaza.
Those people are suffering!
There’s a very big need for
food and medicine.
And we’re taking care of it.”
—President Donald Trump
We implore President Trump to live up to this statement. Get the aid to Gaza, and get it now! The United States possesses the resources and capability to deliver life-saving supplies immediately, without needing permission or “coordination” from other countries. Our government must step up and act without hesitation. The world is watching.
