Today We Celebrate being “Truly Arab, Fully American”

As we mark this Fourth of July, we celebrate the diversity, resilience, and unity that define our great nation. The American landscape is a beautiful blend of cultures, each contributing its distinctive character to the societal mosaic.

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), being “Truly Arab, Fully American,” proudly represents this fusion. Our heritage spans across continents, connecting the richness of our Arab roots with life in the United States worth celebrating.

On this day, we rejoice in our accomplishments, yet we also recognize our nation as a project continually evolving. While we value the progress made, we are acutely aware of the challenges that lie ahead. There are conversations to be held, biases to be addressed, and bridges to be built to ensure a more inclusive, equitable, and understanding America.

The ADC is steadfast in its commitment to champion these changes, striving for a country that upholds its founding promise to all citizens, regardless of their cultural or ethnic backgrounds. Together, we can help shape an America where every voice is heard, every tradition is respected, and every dream has an equal opportunity to flourish.

Today, we extend our wishes for a safe and joyous celebration, and we reaffirm our dedication to the ongoing work of building a more inclusive nation. Standing as one, “Truly Arab, Fully American,” we embody the unity in diversity that strengthens our collective fabric.

Happy Fourth of July!
