A new documentary about the career of legendary Arab- American Journalist Helen Thomas is set to debut on HBO Monday, August 18th at 9p.m. Helen Thomas has been a member and Dean of the White House Press Corps for many years and has been a friend to ADC and participated in several ADC National Conventions.
After previewing the documentary, ADC President Mary Rose Oakar said, “It is a fabulous view of a woman who believed in asking the tough questions of all nine Presidents from President Kennedy to President Bush. Helen broke the barriers for female journalists and was a most respected journalist and author. Helen is also very proud of her Arab American Ancestry. It is a fascinating, funny, yet serious documentary capturing just who Helen Thomas is.”
