Thank You for Making Turaath a Success

American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee

Thank you
for another successful Turaath event!

On behalf of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), it was our honor to host you at this year’s annual Turaath winter gala. This year’s Turaath, Arab Music from Baghdad to Andalusia, was generously co-sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia. It featured legendary Palestinian composer Simon Shaheen and Qantara ensemble and the iconic Tunisian singer Sonia M’Barek. They were accompanied by some of the greatest talents from Spain that truly captured the beautiful ways that our cultures intertwine with each other.

We loved seeing you on Friday and having you join us as our valued guests. With over 650 members in attendance, we can’t think of a better way to wrap up another wonderful year for ADC than with you at the Lincoln Theatre. We can’t wait to see you again at our next major event: the first-ever National Arab Festival in Washington, D.C. in spring 2015!

Special thanks to the Tunisian embassy for being our co-sponsors for Turaath this year. Our sincerest gratitude also goes out to our volunteers, as well as our wonderful sponsors: Al Monitor, Aramco Services Company, Dr. Safa Rifka, Mary and Assad Jebara, Busboys and Poets, Muna and Bassem Hishmeh, Aminy Audi, Z-Furniture, and BLS Limo Group, Inc.

Wishing you a blessed holiday season.
