On April 5th, Representative Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL, 27) introduced a resolution to Congress aimed at prohibiting any limitations on U.S. support for Israel. This resolution criticizes United Nations Security Council Resolution 2728, which calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza—a resolution the U.S. abstained from vetoing. It further argues that Israel should not be held accountable solely based on being a “major strategic partner” and a “major non-NATO ally.”
ADC strongly opposes this bill and urges all House members to do the same. We call on our members and supporters to voice their opposition. Take action here.
