Last week, President Trump signed an illegal, anti-immigrant executive order banning entry to the U.S. from seven Muslim majority countries. This order blatantly violates the rights of Arabs, Muslims, immigrants and refugees.
As a result of the executive order, refugees, students, and other visa holders have been denied boarding and entry into the United States at the airport, or detained upon arrival. Families have been separated and individuals have been stranded overseas, kept from their jobs, their schools, and their homes.
You can take action now to stop the Arab and Muslim ban. Senator Dianne Feinstein has introduced legislation in the Senate and Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren has introduced legislation in the House to address the illegal ban. These pieces of legislation would immediately rescind the executive order and protect the rights of Arabs, Muslims, immigrants, and refugees.
