Dear Friends,
Thank you for your continued support of ADC. With your help we have been able to continue tackling the issues that impact our community directly. Over the past few weeks the ADC Legal Department has worked tirelessly to file two amicus briefs in the United States Supreme Court. ADC submitted briefs in the cases of EEOC v. Abercrombie & Fitch Stores, Inc. and Zivotofsky v. Kerry.
The work on the briefs has resulted in substantial costs that were not accounted for when determining the 2014 budget. ADC is asking for your help in raising the funds to help offset the expenses incurred over the past few weeks. As a dedicated member of the legal community, ADC is reaching out to you today and asking that you consider making a donation that will help us continue our work.

The printing and preparation costs for the two briefs are at almost $6,000. The attorneys worked diligently, often working late into the evenings and into weekends. ADC is hoping to raise enough money to help cover the aforementioned expenses. ADC is also hoping to raise enough funds to cover the costs of a full-time research fellow who will assist in filing similar briefs in 2015.
Many of you participated on conference calls and provided invaluable guidance throughout the legal writing process for our briefs, and for that we are very thankful. By working together we are confident that in 2015 ADC will continue serving as the premier voice of Arab Americans.
I want to thank you for your anticipated support and I wish you a Happy Holiday season.
Best Regards,
Samer E. Khalaf
