Israeli Peace Movement:

Over 500 Israeli Army reservists have signed a public statement that they refuse to continue serving in the West Bank and Gaza. “We will no longer fight beyond the Green Line with the aim of dominating, expelling, starving and humiliating an entire people.” They reported that soldiers had fired at Palestinians who did not endanger them, including stone-throwing boys 100 yards away. “You can’t be both an occupier and moral.” Learn more >>
The under-reported peace and human rights movement among Israelis and American Jews is growing stronger. The Israeli Committee Against Home Demolitions, Israeli Coalition of Women, Gush Shalom, Women in Black, Rabbis for Human Rights and others have worked together with Palestinians to oppose the Israeli occupation – demonstrating, serving as witnesses and human rights monitors, blocking Israeli bulldozers, getting arrested, rebuilding homes, replanting olive trees. An activist from Bat Shalom commented: “Occupation is wrong, occupation is terror, occupation must end.”
