Host an ADC Iftar this Ramadan!
Host an ADC Iftar this Ramadan! As you gather with your family and friends in the spirit of community and charity, tell your friends about the important work ADC is doing to defend our civil and religious rights and promote our cultural heritage.
ADC President Samer Khalaf, or ADC Legal Director Abed Ayoub can even join you to speak at your gathering and explain why ADC membership is essential for all those who care about the civil rights of Arab-Americans!
ADC will provide a Hosting Kit outlining our organization’s recent campaigns and our history as the nation’s largest Arab-American grassroots organization. Some Arab-Americans have not heard or know very little about ADC. This is the perfect time let them know why you support ADC and why they should join all of us!
Our Hosting Kit will also include Membership Forms and Registration Forms for our 37th Annual Convention to be held from September 21-24th in Washington, D.C.
Every year the ADC National Convention is the largest gathering of Arab Americans in our Nation’s Capital. This year’s theme “Resist Hate, Redefine America” explores the rise of hate rhetoric and what can be done to address it. Our Convention will be centered on getting to the sources of the issues impacting our community and other minority communities in the U.S. and providing our attendees with the knowledge and tools to implement change locally and nationally.
During this precarious political climate, family, friendship and community bonds are needed for us to stand strong! Make sure that this Ramadan we strengthen the ties that bind our community. ADC needs your help to reach out to Arab-Americans to advance our common interests. Join us in hosting an ADC Iftar!
If you’d like President Samer Khalaf to speak at your event via Skype or other video-service, please fill out the desired time slots in the Hosting Kit. We will do our best to accommodate your requested time. For more information please contact ADC Organizing Coordinator Yusuf AlBarzinji.
Join us this Ramadan!
