- S.J.Res.41 – To prohibit the sale of tens of thousands of fully automatic assault rifles.
Billions of taxpayer dollars have already been used to fund Israel’s genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. Today, thousands of Palestinians are enduring a man-made famine. The U.S.- and Israeli-backed aid contractor, Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), has been linked to the killing of over 1,000 Palestinians. War crimes are being committed at food distribution sites, and testimony from former Green Berets confirms the atrocities.
These arms sales are in clear violation of the Foreign Assistance Act and the Arms Export Control Act. Why is the United States continuing to arm a government whose war crimes have been visible to the world for nearly three years? The U.S. must not enable further atrocities by sending more weapons.
