SAVE THE DATE! Turaath is one of ADC’s annual cultural events held in the Washington, D.C. area. Each year highlights a different cultural medium, with past years including fashion, comedy, and dance as part of the program. This year, ADC is proud to host the Layaali Arabic music ensemble.

Layaali is a group of talented musicians whose love and dedication to Arabic music have earned them wide acclaim from both ethnomusicologists and audiences at sould-out performances throughout the U.S. and internationally. The ensemble is committed to performing the traditional music of the Arab world and to preserving the right legacy of Arabic culture through soulful vocals, hypnotic instrumental improvisations, electrifying percussion, and faithful renditions and recordings of master works.
