The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is a non-sectarian, non-partisan Civil and Human Rights Organization committed to defending the rights of people of Arab descent. Since its founding in 1980 by former United States Senator James Abourezk, who is Lebanese-American, ADC has grown into the largest Arab-American grassroots civil rights organization in the United States. ADC’s National Office is in Washington, DC, with offices and chapters throughout the Country, and members in every State of the Union. Next year, 2010, ADC is celebrating an historic milestone, its 30th Anniversary.
