ADC Recognizes June as World Refugee Month

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) recognizes the sacrifice and courage of refugees. The United Nations established June 20th as World Refugee Day and ADC recognizes June as World Refugee month. This month we welcome all refugees who have been displaced from their country of origin due to war and persecution.

We are living during the world’s largest international refugee and humanitarian crisis. According to the UN Refugee Agency– as of 2015 there are nearly 60 million displaced people in the world, 20 million of whom are registered refugees who have fled their countries.
