Please join ADC at the Layaali Arabic Music Ensemble: 25th Anniversary Concert taking place next Saturday, September 30 at All Souls Unitarian Church. It will be an evening of beautiful music benefiting UNRWA USA’s work.
Layaali is a Boston-based group of talented musicians whose love and dedication to Arabic music have earned them wide acclaim from both ethnomusicologists and audiences at sold-out performances throughout the US and internationally. On Saturday, Sep. 30, their 25th anniversary concert will benefit UNRWA USA’s work for Palestine refugees.
The concert features Palestinian oud player Abdul-Wahab Kayyali and Syrian vocalist Fadi Jano. Other ensemble members include Jamal Sinno from Lebanon (qanun), Mohammed Mejaour from Morocco (nay), and Michael Moushabeck from Palestine (percussion).
Tickets are $20 and seating is general admission.
