Washington, D.C.| www.adc.org | January 24, 2018 – The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee is seeking applicants for the Anthony Shadid Internship Program for the summer of 2018.
Since 1981, over 500 students have participated in the Anthony Shadid Internship program. Interns learn about civil rights, Arab heritage and current events in the Middle East while gaining leadership experience and developing practical skills related to community organizing, media relations, research and writing, legal issues, political action, educational outreach, and routine office work.
Qualifications: Candidates must be currently enrolled in college or graduate school and have completed a minimum of one (1) year of undergraduate study by the start of the internship.
